Sneak Shoot | Day 8

We spent the majority of the day setting up for a film we were making in the afternoon with the actors. The final product turned out just how we wanted it.

Stairs Shoot | Day 7

Today we shot a video of stairs.  The inspiration was from a Shirley Clarke film called "Bridges Go Round," we called ours "Stairs Go Down." All of the footage was shot with an iPad and edited in iMovie.

Elevator Geddan | Day 6

Today we finished editing our Elevator Geddan video on Final Cut Pro.  Since many Geddan videos use quirky costumes or transform banal spaces into active ones, we shot our video in the freight elevator. We also put the finishing touches on the rig we've made for our upcoming video, Stairs-Go-Down, which will be based on a film by Shirley Clarke.

Geddan Shoot | Day 5

Today we built a rig to help stabilize the iPads for future videos. We also discussed an upcoming video project based on Shirley Clarke's experimental film Bridges-Go-Round, and shot photos and video for our Geddan video.

Our First Movie | Day 4

A short film about a purse snatcher that was planned, slated, shot, edited, and delivered entirely on iPads.

Slating with the iPad | Day 3

Today we started using the Movie★Slate application on our iPads.  Slating is used to mark clips in a film.  We also planned scenes and made shot lists for the short film we are shooting tomorrow so we will be prepared to work with our actors.

iPad Photoshoot | Day 2

Today we walked around campus testing the photo capabilities of the iPad. The photos from the iPad were surprisingly good but sometimes noisy and the auto exposure is sometimes difficult in sunny situations.
